The Freshmen have been working on their "faith journey" posters and essays. They've been presenting them to the class this week... sharing pictures of important life events, information about their Confirmation Saints and reading their essays. In many of their writings they have mentioned parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, teachers, brothers, sisters and more... who have helped shape their faith. It was a blessing to hear their stories. Sometimes we don't think we make a difference... but the experiences of these students have proved otherwise! The way lives are lived have a profound effect... keep fighting the good fight! Notre Dame, our Lady, pray for us!

MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL
We are on the countdown until the last day of school!... starting today there are 26 more school days left! To have some end of the year fun, the middle school and high school are having an ABC Saint countdown.... today was St Agnes' day. Monday will be a saint starting with the letter B, etc... When the students arrive at school there will be a table set up with the Saint's picture on it along with how many days are left! Students can WRITE DOWN an interesting fact about the Saint, bring their piece of paper with the fact written on it to Mrs. Roth or Mrs. Baxter no later than 9 am of that day in exchange for a piece of candy!
On Thursday, April 27, in honor of Servant of God Email Kaupan, POW and chaplain who died in the Korean War, students are encouraged to wear camo for the day. On Wednesday, May 3, in honor of Saint Isidore, patron of farmers, students are encouraged to dress as a farmer. On other days we will celebrate the Saint in a different, but special way.
The Church is full of men and women who are our Heavenly friends - this is a great way to celebrate their lives as we countdown to summer! Saints in Heaven, pray for us!
Reminder! Next Weekend!
Mark your calendars for the spring play!

We have been praying for our "Spiritual Babies" this school year... praying they would safely and lovingly be brought into the world to do God's will. To celebrate God's graces and their upcoming "due date" we are having a Baby Shower!
The shower will be Friday, April 28 during Religion classes. It will be a day of celebrating with games and treats. Through this fun day, we would like to share our blessings with BirthRight by bringing in diapers, basic clothing, any infant needs or a monetary gift. BirthRight is a local Burlington organization who supports mothers and babies in a confidential, non-judgmental and loving way.
