Notre Dame students spent Friday in their religion classes celebrating their Spiritual Babies with a Baby Shower. Prompted by Fulton J. Sheen's idea from decades ago, at the beginning of the school year students adopt a spiritual baby and pray for them throughout the year. They learn and see how the babies grow from month to month. We may not know specifically who the baby is, but God does!
Some students brought gifts for babies to be donated to Birthright in Burlington.
Games were played and treats and punch were enjoyed. A fun day celebrating God's graces which we trust will be given to their spiritual babies.
In our Saint ABC countdown, today we are on the letter G. Saint Gabriel came to deliver a message to all the students... 20 more days of school left!!! Saint Gabriel's halo with a twist this morning... it fit on his cowboy hat.
7th grade field trip to the Anne Frank Pen Pal Museum in Danville, Iowa
Today, all middle schoolers and high schoolers learned about a man who gave his life entirely and joyfully to Christ. To honor him, students were encouraged to wear camo. Ask a student about the man who lost his life in the Korean War, but saved many lives because of his great love of God! Servant of God, Emil Kaupan, pray for us!
We are so very blessed to this in the United States of America!
Tonight and Tomorrow! Don't miss it!
