Anna Engberg, Lauren Krieger, Logan Kelley, Maddy Knapp and Shona Anderson each had three hits to lead the West Burlington-Notre Dame high school softball team to a 15-5 victory over Keokuk in the season opener Monday at Barb Carter Field.

Engberg and Krieger each scored two runs, as did Anderson and Lacey Felkins. Krieger, Kelley, Knapp and Anderson each drove in two runs.

Suzie Whitaker went 3-for-3 and scored two runs for the Chiefs, while Kalie Ames was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Ada Wood drove in two runs.
